Well friends it's that time again! Time for another release to radio. I am so excited about this new single, "Paycheck To A Prayer," hitting radio! Once again we will be calling on ALL of our friends to help out. We need everyone requesting the heck out of this song, to get it where it needs to be!
Country Radio is a tricky place. Some stations will not play your single unless you are at a certain point on the charts. What makes it difficult, is you usually have to have them play it to get to that point on the charts. Its music business politics. That is why you hear the same ole stuff on your radio station time and time again, and yet there are thousands of talented artists out there with great music who you will never know.
If your station will not play it, says they don't have it, ask to speak to their music director. If the music director isn't there, leave a message! Get an email address and send the program director an email. Let your radio stations know what you want to hear. Most fans do not realize that there is a person in an office somewhere that sends a memo to most of these program directors telling them what to play!
But here is something that helps, we will have a target list of approx 100 radio stations, and these stations are the "gateway" stations. When we get these stations playing the single over and over again, well it climbs the charts....when it gets to the top 40 on what they call the Music Row Chart....that is when Billboard stations might just pay attention.
"Paycheck To A Prayer" will also be played on syndicated Inspirational Country / Christian Country programming Nationwide! So be sure to check your Sunday Programming as well!
Let me share a little about why we wrote Paycheck To A Prayer:
Paycheck To A Prayer was written to give hope in a dark and gloomy world. A time when unemployment is through the roof and those that have jobs, are well stuck. Hours and Salaries are being cut, some are losing their pensions, and the cost of living seems to be rising. Gas Prices are astronomical and there seems to be no relief in site. People are losing their homes. Families are cutting back on everything just to barely get by.
During these tough times it is easy to lose sight of Hope. God gives us hope for tomorrow. Our message is to stay strong and keep the faith, you will get through this! God will see you through these hard times. There is no time table to know how long you are on this journey. There is only hope and a promise that God will see you through. Keep your faith and you will come out victorious!
We have been hearing lots of stories from our friends. Some have brought me and my wife to tears as we sit and read them. Yes we read every letter that comes in and we pray for each person who sends us a story or letter. We know these are tough times! We love and appreciate each and every fan (our friends) and we pray for you to be blessed beyond measure. Thank you for sharing your stories with us. For giving us that insight into your lives. It means a lot to know you care enough to want to share your story!
Thank you all for your support! May God Bless You Always!
Til Next Time,
Scott Steele
